Type the number and the answer. You can type both on the same page.
(2) Read "In Praise of the F Word" on pages 711-713. Brainstorm and prepare an outline on this thesis sentence: Students should not be allowed to leave a class until they pass the class.

Read text pages 294-296 "Television Addiction." Addictions usually can fit into two categories: Harmful Addiction and Harmless Addiction. Write a 500-600 word essay on any of your addictions. Brainstorm the topic, outline, and develop a thesis sentence.
Write a draft and print a hard copy of the draft. Revise and make corrections ON THE PAPER COPY. Prepare and print a final copy. Staple and hand in all of this material in this order: 1. Outline 2. Final Copy 3. Draft 4. Brainstorm

(1) Read your notes on Dangling and Misplaced Modifiers; read the pages in the text book [Misplaced Modifiers pages 480-482 and Dangling Modifiers pages 483-487]. On Tuesday, you will have a test on modifiers based on the text book,our class discussion, and the Power Point.
THESE NEXT TWO SECTIONS COVER WAYS TO COMBINE SENTENCES. YOU CAN TYPE ALL THREE ACTIVITIES ON ONE PAGE. Be sure that you identify the activity page number.
(2) Read "Vary Your Sentences" on pages 113-114 (compound sentence) and TYPE the Activity beginning on page 114. Read pages 115-116 (complex sentence) and TYPE the Activity on page 116. You may type both activities on one page.
(3) Read "Revise by Beginning with a Special Opening Word or Phrase" on page 117.
We have discuss all of these except for the -ly word. To use the -ly modifier, add
-ly to asingle work modifier. TYPE the activity beginning on page 117.
(4) Study your notes on REGULAR and IRREGULAR VERBS for test.
