Verb Agreement" on page 434-451.
2. Bring a blue Scan sheet for a test on S-V
agreement this class period.
3. Read chapter 16, "Comparison and Contrast"
on pages 252-271. Be able to explain the two
terms "comparison" and "contrast." Know what
the PURPOSE of a comparison and contrast essay
is. Know what your MAIN POINT expresses. Know
the two types of ORGANIZATION in Comparison
and Contrast.
