1. On textbook page 90-92, you have a discussion
of Introductory Paraghaphs and examples of six
Common Methods of Introduction.The thesis sentence
should be the last sentence of the introduction
unless you add the Plan of Development as the
last sentence. See your class notes on the Plan
of Development. For this assignemnt, "Fast foods
should be regulated" is the thesis sentence.
Write at least four different Introductory Paragraphs
for this thesis sentence. The Intro Paragraphs should
be four to six sentences long. Identify the method
tht you are using. Type this assignment.
2. You will have a retest on Capital Letters. Quotation
Marks, and Apostrophes.
3. A Miscellaneous Writing is due.

items that you brainstormed in your homework. Prepare an outline.
write a draft,save the draft, print the draft,
make corrections on the printed copy, make the corrections
on the saved draft, print a final copy. Your paper should
be from 350-600 words. Be sure to use specific details.

1. The next miscellaneous writing is due. In
the first line of your paper, mention the topic
that you are writing about so that I can identify
its number from the list.
2. Study for the test on Capital Letters, Quotation
Marks, and Apostrophes.
3. On a paper that you will hand in, brainstorm and
decide on an experience for your narration paper. The
brainstorm may be typed or handwritten. Pick an
experience that you think will be different from the
others in the class, but be sure that the
experience is something that you yourself were actually
involved in. Example: One night last summer, I learned
how not to talk to a cop. Example: On high school
graduation night, "Truth or Dare" became a not-so-funny
game. DO NOT plan to write about anything that
will embarrass you or humiliate you. Others will read
your paper.

the instructions in the text.
