1. The next miscellaneous writing is due. On this
writing, print the draft and make corrections on the
draft. I won't accept the writing if I do not see
that the draft has corrections marked on it.
2. Read textbook pages 455-467, ""Fragments."
On page 467, complete Review Test 2.
Underline fragments and write corrections in
the book. You may type the exercise if you do not
want to write in the book.
3. Think about Spring Break, March 16-22.

1. Since we did not have time for the test on
modifiers, study all your sources for the
test we will have on 3/11/08.
2. Read textbook pages 222-231 "Exemplification."
In this method of writing, you support your thesis
sentence by giving specific examples. Your thesis
sentence could be "My best firend is not very
disciplined." One example could be that he puts
off dioing assignments until the night before they are
due. Another example could be that uses his credit
to buy items that he doesn't need. A third example could
be that he is easily talked into doing things he
doesn't really want to do.On page 239, several qualities
listed under Writing Assignment 2. Select one of the
qualities and develop an outline that gives three
examples that illustrate that quality.
